Hi! I'm Nia.

Having kids didn’t stop my travel and sense of adventure—it deepened it. Through Born a Backpacker, I document life on the road with my children and share a perspective on family travel that goes beyond amusement parks and designated kid zones. The world itself is the playground, and I love capturing moments that remind parents how extraordinary it can be to experience it through their children’s eyes.

I also love working with brands, hotels, and tourism boards to create high-quality photography and video in some of the world’s most beautiful places—capturing destinations in an authentic and meaningful way.

In addition to my photography work, I help lead and photograph group trips around the world. This is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do: these experiences often have a profound impact on people, and I have the privilege of documenting those moments as they unfold.
